I gotta say though, i mgur is a good image hosting platform, but you never know what you’re gonna get when you share post s to the “community”. It really pisses me off seeing McMike’s stuff get downvoted . I went through and upvoted other posts of his, bringing a couple of them up from “-1 points” to “0 points”. WTF? Are imgur users really that awful, or is this what we would have to put up with if Kinja had downvoting?

Yea, I don’t get it either. I hadn’t noticed that his stuff was downvoted, but I do notice some really cool stuff gets downvoted for god knows why. Maybe just people angry that they’re no where near as talented as some people an only contribution to the world is sick memes.

I’ve heard that it’s bots, I’ve also heard that it’s other users jealously using it as a tactic to help promote their own posts. Whatever the case may be, it’s apparently spread to commenting as well.
